As the head chef of a bustling restaurant, Jocelyn Gray must stay focused. With her family relying on her, she can’t afford to get distracted.

She especially can’t let the arrogant dreamboat Luke Wright, the man she’s hated for a decade, distract her.

But desperate and cash-strapped, Jocelyn soon considers a shocking proposal from her worst enemy…

The oldest son of the wealthy Wright family, Luke has big plans to use his family’s riches for good.

The only thorn in his side? A gorgeous blond chef who seems to be the only woman immune to his charms.

But Luke’s plans are upended when he learns that he must marry, or risk losing his entire inheritance.

Now he needs to find a wife—and fast. And Jocelyn Gray is the perfect woman for the job.

As these two enemies let their walls down, will they let love win? Or will their vows become nothing but hollow promises?

My Heart to Keep is book two in the Hazel Island Series and Luke and Joycelyn’s Frenemies to fake marriage to lovers is a great addition to the series. This is a journey about a couple who are both afraid to commit, a couple who don’t communicate and a couple who deep down want love but are afraid of what love brings. Luke and Joycelyn have a history that goes all the way back to high school but now they find themselves needing each other so could a marriage of convenience solve their problems…. Problem is what happens when lines are crossed and will either of them admit to their real feelings. This is a captivating read, it’s unpredictable and it has strong characters that are easy to connect with but more importantly it’s a well written live story full of emotions. Great read and great follow up from book one in the series.

This is a new author for me, and I enjoyed the story and the characters and her writing. It was an enemy who get married for his benefit, so he can get his inheritance. But he also has to prove he is in love with his new wife to his grandmother's best friend. It stars Jocelyn, who has had the worst luck lately. She has so many balls in the air that she can hardly breathe. When her nemesis, Luke comes to her with a proposal, and she has to decide to marry him or not. Honestly, while I enjoyed this story a lot. I had no idea what she got out of the deal. Maybe when he gets his inheritance, she thought she could share the wealth. But it was never a part of the contract. I really did not have any idea why she would do it. Luke was just as bad. When he finds out how broke she is. His reaction made no sense to me. It's not like she married him for love or even like, they were enemies, and he did her wrong years before. Aside from not understanding those two things I did enjoy the book and romance between these two. It was a wonderful hate romance which I love. I also found it a fast read and the story was a lot of fun. I really loved Luke and Jocelyn. I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A fake relationship rekindling their very real feelings. This pair drew me in to their story from the beginning. I was immediately captivated by the chemistry that crackled between Jocelyn and Luke, even though it manifested itself as hate more often than not. Neither one had very good examples of successful relationships, either romantic or family. These two could have been doomed from the start, but instead they rose above their bad examples to give me a fairy tale ending worthy of the description. The teaser in the close of this book has made me positively rabid to learn what’s going to happen next. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
